The Best Target Fall Circle Week 2024 Deals to Shop Now | Reviews by Wirecutter

Oct 16, 2024

By The Wirecutter Deals Team

The Wirecutter Deals team hunts for and highlights only the best discounts on Wirecutter picks made by our editorial experts.

As Amazon's October Prime Day event winds down, we’ve stopped updating this article, and we can’t guarantee that these deals are still in stock. Check our Deals page for the latest finds.

Amazon isn’t the only retailer hyping major deals this week.

Target has launched its own fall Circle Week sale, promising savings through October 12 for shoppers enrolled in both its free and paid Circle memberships.

Many of the markdowns are mediocre. But some make the grade, and if you’re a planner, it’s a great time to get a jump on your holiday gift list.

Here are the best deals from Target on Wirecutter picks we’ve tested and recommend.

Radio Flyer 4-in-1 Stroll ’N Trike — Top PickTarget deal price: $65; street price: $85

What we like: Our top pick for the best tricycle is also recommended in our guide to the best gifts for 1-year-olds. A versatile trike that will grow with your child. Converts from a stroller alternative to a big-kid trike they can steer on their own. Comes packed with accessories and has an easy-to-use harness.

Other things to know: Takes about 40 minutes to put together and the necessary tools are not included. Has more plastic features, which means it’s more lightweight than some of our other picks. Comes with a two-year warranty. Free Target Circle membership required. Price reflects in cart.

Philips Norelco OneBlade 360 QP2724/70 — Budget PickTarget deal price: $22; street price: $35

What we like: Our budget beard trimmer pick that's great for goatees. Slim, pivoting head makes it as precise as a manual razor. Stays close to skin. Also great for a sharp-looking mustache. In our experience, the replaceable heads last far longer than their suggested four-month life.

Other things to know: Despite retailer-specific numbering, it's identical to our pick, the QP2724/90. Doesn’t look tough enough to plow through a thick beard, but did. May be too weak for heavy beards. Battery ran for about an hour in our tests. Free Target Circle membership required; deal price reflects in cart. Choose store pickup to avoid shipping fees, or add to an order over $35.

What we like: Our longtime top pick for the best classic waffle-weave shower curtain. Simple, timeless, and durable. Machine-washable. Neutral design and color options will complement just about any bathroom.

Other things to know: Shrinks quite a bit. Without a liner, stayed wet longer than our other all-cotton picks. Free Target Circle membership and store pickup required, or free shipping for Circle Card and Circle 360 members.

Other things to know: Less breathable and wrinkles more than other sateen sets we’ve tested. Deal price for the twin/twin XL, but all sizes are on sale. Street price has risen substantially over the years. Free Target Circle membership required to get the deal.

Threshold Spa Plush Towel — Budget PickTarget deal price: $10; street price: $14

What we like: Our budget pick for the best terry-cloth bath towel. The closest alternative we’ve found to our top terry-cloth pick (and way cheaper). Softest, most plush towel we’ve tested under $20. Absorbent and dries surprisingly fast. Smooth on the body and soft on the face.

Other things to know: Comes in a handful of colors. Doesn’t hold up as well over time as our top pick. Free Target Circle membership and store pickup required, or free shipping for Circle Card and Circle 360 members.

Breville Joule Turbo Sous Vide — Upgrade PickTarget deal price: $200; street price: $250

What we like: Our upgrade sous vide cooker, and one we rank among the best Google-Assistant-compatible smart devices. One of the smallest and most powerful options out there, and it works with less water. Impressively high-tech, it lets you check your food's cooking progress or tweak temperatures through Google Assistant–integrated voice commands.

Drinkmate OmniFizz Soda Maker Special Bundle — Top PickTarget deal price: $100; street price: $133

What we like: Our top soda maker pick. Produces zippy, tasty seltzer and carbonates non-water beverages—something other machines struggled to do well, if at all. Drinkmate CO2 cylinders can be exchanged through a mail-in program.

Other things to know: Works with any screw-in carbon dioxide cylinder, not just those from DrinkMate. Carbonates through a nozzle on a separate cap that you screw onto your bottle. Bundle includes a 60-liter CO2 cartridge and 1-liter reusable carbonating bottle. Free Target Circle membership required. Price reflects in cart.

Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro — Top PickTarget deal price: $300; street price: $400

What we like: Our top air fryer toaster oven pick and our upgrade toaster oven pick. Performs just as well as an air fryer as it does a toaster oven. Specific settings for dehydrating, proofing, and slow cooking. Crisps up food faster than traditional toaster ovens. Large two-rack capacity. Multiple fan speeds.

Other things to know: Even on sale, notably more expensive than our other picks. "Super convection" fan speed is incredibly loud. Didn't toast bread quite as evenly as other picks. We'd prefer a pizza stone over the included nonstick pizza pan. As low as we've seen this model. Free Target Circle membership required.

Other things to know: Two-year warranty. Built-in grinder isn't as fine-tuned as standalone espresso-focused grinders. Recurring deal price, but we have yet to see it go lower. Apple iPad (10th generation, 64 GB) — Top PickTarget deal price: $300; street price: $340

What we like: Our top iPad tablet pick. The cheapest iPad Apple sells. Ditches the Home button and offers more color options, faster processing power, better rear cameras, USB-C, and an improved FaceTime camera over the 9th-gen iPad, which has been discontinued. Retains the 10-hour battery life of its predecessors.

Apple iPad (9th Generation, 64 GB) — Top PickTarget deal price: $200; street price: $250

What we like: Our top pick for the best tablet for kids. Best combination of ease of use, performance, app selection, and price. 64 GB is good buy if you don't plan to download many high-end games or 4K video. The robust app selection makes this model worth it.

Other things to know: Previous generation model, but still fast enough for all but the most demanding tasks. Lacks 120 Hz refresh rate screen. Free Target Circle membership required to get the deal at Target.

Sony PlayStation 5 Slim — Top PickTarget deal price: $400; street price: $450

What we like: Our Playstation console top pick. Revamped consoles are (slightly) smaller than old versions. Has a disc drive, so you can watch UHD Blu-ray movies, as well as play new or used PS5 and PS4 game discs.

Sony PlayStation 5 Slim Digital Edition (No Disc Drive) — Also GreatTarget deal price: $400; street price: $450

What we like: The new "Slim" version of our top PlayStation game console pick without a disc drive. Slightly narrower and shorter than the OG. 1 TB storage (up from 825 GB).

Other things to know: No disc drive, so you can’t watch Blu-rays or take advantage of used games, or old PS4 discs. Still some backwards compatibility issues with PS4 games and exclusives. No Dolby Vision or or DTS:X support. Despite being called the "Slim," it's still quite bulky. Free Target Circle membership required from Target, no membership required from Best Buy.

Apple AirPods Max Headphones — Worth ConsideringTarget deal price: $400; street price: $470

What we like: A good pair of wireless Bluetooth headphones worth considering if you’re willing to pay more for the absolute best active noise cancellation and a more-luxurious design. Sleek and distinctive look. Pairs with Apple products effortlessly. Excellent call quality. Replaceable battery.

Other things to know: Too hefty for all-day wear. Supports Dolby Atmos and Apple spatial audio, but not Apple Music’s lossless audio. 3.5 mm cable not included. ANC isn't adjustable, so it can cause eardrum suck. Case doesn't protect headband or keep debris out of earcups. Free Target Circle membership required.
